C офф. форума - по последнему интервью.
Not a transcript, but I made a few disjointed notes while listening to the interview:
You play a Beast, someone who is a descendant of the primal nightmares of humanity
Fear of dark
Fear of something pouncing on you and eating you
Fear of being yanked down under water and drowned
Fear of being watched
Mother of monsters, Echidna
Beasts think of themselves as family. Beasts also think of other supernaturals as family.
Do you like your family?
"The Begotten"
There's a subsection of powers - kinship - amplify powers of other supers, create new powers for themselves based on other monsters they meet.
Explicitly crossover friendly, with crossover being still optional.
Heroes = antagonists. heroes think it's their story. It's not. They find that out when they go hunting for Beasts
How would the stories play out if the monsters were to tell them?
Every beast has a hunger. Hunger = y-axis.
Family x, Hunger y.
Hoarders (collecting), predators (making prey understand it's prey), ...
You pursue your hunger. You investigate the world of darkness. You meet other monsters.
There is an endgame - forked path.
Why should you play Beast? if you want to play a character who is aggressively able to form their own story in the world of darkness. Beasts have their own story arc.
Inspirations: Any story where there's a monster and the hero hunts the monster down. The trick is to consider the story from the monster's perspective.
There will be a Beasts of the World chapter, like in the 2nd Edition books - Tokyo is one of the locations, for obvious reasons.
